Algorithm of Network Training
Each node forms its own dataset (training sample) from the blockchain data. From this data, a layered training of the genetic algorithm occurs and each additional layer learns from the preceding layer, according to the principle of an autoencoder. After the pre-training, the backpropagation method is applied to tighten the weights to a minimum. The network must be trained before the next block cycle.
Choosing the Best Network
The nodes form a test dataset prior to the formation of a new block cycle. After the formation of the test sample, the matrices are checked. The matrix with the smallest error wins and gets loaded into the next era. The node of the winning matrix receives Velas (VLX) from the network by solving blockchain network maintenance tasks, each AIDPOS node makes an intellectual contribution by further developing a neural network. This all happens without requiring any understanding programming languages by operators of selected nodes.
Network Versions RollOut Schedule
Token Swap: Coinpayments Coin to Velas coin (VLX) was done via Coinpayments platform on the
4th of July 2019 and will mark the day of Velas independence from original token. This will
launch first Stage described in Technical Paper:
Stage 1 (Pre-Alpha): Creation of the blockchain system structure, coins, transactions on 4 nodes. Nodes will be run by network organizers during pre-alpha stage. Smart contract in wallet will allow all CPS coin (CoinpaymentsCoin) users to swap 1:1 to VLX (Velas). Creation of tokens or custom digital assets. Each Stage is estimated to take 3-6 months to roll out.
VELAS MONTHLY ECOSYSTEM REPORT #004Medium, 13 Jun, 2020
Welcome back to our latest Velas Ecosystem Report for May. In light of a rapidly changing global climate, we’ve been hard at work looking to ship a suite of updates well suited for an increasingly digital world. As always, we invite you to join the conversation on Telegram, where your thoughts and opinions directly influence the way we shape the web 3 foundations of tomorrow.
This feature allow users to stake their VLX tokens on the right of any particular node to participate in the formation of blocks in the next production era. Nodes that are successful in becoming block producers will distribute 80 percent of their block rewards to the users who correctly predicted their election.Read More
The Velas desktop wallet is a highly secure wallet program that runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating system. The desktop version of the wallet also uses the same mnemonic seed phrase feature and RSA-256-CBC encryption algorithm as the web version.Read More
A standout feature of the WEB version is that users can specify cryptocurrency transfers in any currency of their choosing. The wallet is continually updated with the current VLX exchange rates against all fiat currencies.Read More
